It’s an engaging and compelling 2 person race game, involving strategy and luck. The game comprises a board of twenty squares, 7 pieces per player and 4 tetrahedral dice each.
The game was excavated from a Royal tomb in the ancient Sumerian city of Ur, by archaeologist Sir Leonard Woolley, in the 1920’s. The rules of the game were rediscovered in the 1980’s by Dr. Irving Finkel of the British Museum on an ancient cuneiform tablet.
It’s for everyone! Whether you are family or friend, student or teacher, old or young, this game crosses boundaries and reminds us of the importance of games and playing in our lives. Anyone over the age of 8 can play easily.
